Actress.

She was a silent screen era actress born in the Russian Empire. She and her family fled the Russian Revolution. They first moved to Constantinople, where she began her acting career in Vaudeville. She later moved to Berlin. She later was involved in films directed by Johannes Guter.

In 1950, Xenia's daughter "Tamara Desni" (also a famous actress) along with her husband moved to France where he opened a successful hotel and restaurant L'Auberge Chez Tamara on the Cote d'Azur in Grasse. Xenia eventually moved in with them.

She was the mother of Berlin-born actress Tamara Desni (1913 - 2008)
and mother-in-law of Canadian actor Raymond Lovell (1900 - 1953).

Xenia Desni, might be interred in Roquefort the pines in the Alpes Maritimes.
