When Mary Agnes Beckstrom was born on 23 March 1914, in Benjamin, Utah, Utah, her father, Archibald Beckstrom, was 23 and her mother, Elizabeth Argyle, was 23. She married Robert Brimhall Jensen on 13 February 1935, in Spanish Fork, Utah, Utah. She lived in Spanish Fork in 1950. She died on 28 June 2012, in Payson, Utah, Utah, at the age of 98, and was buried in Spanish Fork City Cemetery.

Mary Agnes Beckstrom Jensen of Benjamin/Spanish Fork, Utah passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the age of 98. She was born on March 23, 1914 in Benjamin, Utah to Archibald Beckstrom and Elizabeth Argyle Beckstrom. She met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Brimhall Jensen at a dance in Benjamin at the Arrowhead Resort and they never stopped dancing. They were married on February 13, 1935 later sealed, in the Manti LDS Temple on December 19, 1963. They have been married for 77 years. They were very active in all kinds of areas in church, senior citizen, Blackhawk and loved to dance and play cards with friends and family. They loved entertaining their friends at their land in Panorama Woods.

Mary accomplished many things in her life. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served as the Benjamin librarian for 27 years and served in Stake Primary as well as other positions in the church. She also worked as a lunch lady for 17 years in Benjamin, Payson and Jr. High in Spanish Fork. She served as the Senior Citizen Program Chairman in Spanish Fork and put together many programs for the senior citizens from decorations to organizing the talent. Her latest accomplishment was fulfilling her dream to write the history of Benjamin, Utah as she experienced it. The book is called "The Faces and Places of Benjamin Utah". She also wrote "Arch and Elizabeth Beckstrom's Family History". She had an amazing memory and could always tell you about someone and their history, her stories were loved by many.

Mary grew up in Benjamin, Utah and graduated from Spanish Fork High School. She lived most of her life in Benjamin. Several years ago she and Bob moved to Spanish Fork in her dream home at the top of Center Street.

Mary was a devoted mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and Friend and will be greatly missed by those who love her. She loved her family very much and taught them to be honest, charitable and to never give up.

She will be remembered for her great love of the senior citizens and her love for life and dancing.

Mary was proceeded in death by her husband (Bob), 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Mary is survived by her 6 children: Robert Jensen (DeNene), Arlene Neilsen (Bill), Jerry Jensen (Dorothy), Beverly Harris (Jim), Dennis Jensen (Barbara) and Darla Bakker (Marty), 38 grandchildren, 90 great grandchildren and 27 great-great grandchildren and her brother Frank Beckstrom and sister-in-law Helen (Shuler) Beckstrom and sister-in-law Diane (Beckstrom) Bradford. We love and miss you.

There will be 2 viewings, Monday, July 2, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, July 3rd from 9:00 to 10:30 am at the Spanish Fork 8th Ward Chapel, 1006 E. 200 S., Spanish Fork. Services will be Tuesday, at 11:00 am at the same location as the viewings.
