Harriet Randall Buda, age 95, of Fairfield, CT, devoted wife to the late James Buda, passed away peacefully. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Susanne Targowski and her husband Charles, of Pownal, VT, James Buda, Jr. and his wife Francine, of Eastham, MA, Merritt Buda and his wife Sue, of Milford, CT, June Cassone and her husband Joe, of Fairfield; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Harriet was predeceased by her parents, Jeremiah and Ada Davis Randall; eleven siblings, Adelaide Szekeres, Edna Brush, Bernice Stevens, Lois Chace, Mildred Raynor, Marion Dudics, George Randall, Wallace Randall, Jeramiah Randall, Charles Randall and Daniel Randall. Harriet's passion was her dedication to caregiving, both to her family and as a Registered Nurse to those who needed medical assistance. A longtime member of the First United Church of Christ in Bridgeport, she was also a woman of strong faith. Her family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Cambridge Manor for their loving care throughout the many years of her residence. Funeral services were held privately.
