Mrs. Oda Dismuke, 85, of 014 North First, died Friday at Colonial Park Care Center, McAlester. She had been a lifelong resident of the McAlester area.

Funeral services will be 2pm Monday at Mills Funeral Chapel with Rev. Harvey Clagg and Rev. Gene Coolbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens cemetery under the direction of Mills Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dismuke was born July 24, 1902 at Alderson. She and John William (Bill) Dismuke were married September 18, 1920 at Krebs. He preceded her in death on November 24, 1980. She was a housewife and Charter member of Mekko Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred D. and Densel Smith of McAlester and Helen and Gene Coolbaugh of Muskogee; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill E. and Ruby Dismuke of Tulsa and Roy Lee (Bud) and Imogene Dismuke of Smithville; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins and four sisters-in-law, Ethel Harris, Marjorie Desjardins and Lola Nobles, all of McAlester and Jessie Peak of Broken Bow.
