Mr. Anders was born February 23, 1927 in Barnardsville, NC to the late John H. and Clyde Lee (Shepard) Anders. He served in the United States Army and was a WW II veteran, and resided in Penney Farms, FL for the last 15 years.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joan Knight.
He was survived by his wife, Marie (Buckner) Anders of 63 years of Penney Farms; son, Carroll Anders of Penney Farms; daughters, Kay Elkins of Weaverville, NC and Angela Hydeman of St. Augustine, FL; sisters, Pauline Anders of NC, Faye Moody of NC, Neil Locuken of TN, and Kate Barker of NC; brothers, Burrell Anders and Bob Anders, both of NC; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
