A native of Madison County, she had resided in Buncombe County most of her life. She retired as a Teachers Assistant from Buncombe County Schools and was a member of Lake Hills Church. She devoted her lifetime to children through the school system and her church. With her overwhelming love for people, young and old, we were able to share our one-of-a-kind mother with so many.
Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late Jeter Pritchard Ramsey and Cora Lee Ensley Ramsey. She was also preceded in death by her nine siblings.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Maurice Clark of the home; son, Lee Clark of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Donnie Ramsey (Ann) of Weaverville and Boyce Ramsey (Janice) of Asheville and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held at 5 PM Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Lake Hills Church with Pastor James Walker officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 PM Thursday prior to services at the church.
Burial will be held at 12 noon Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
