Celebration of life services will be held for life-long area resident Darren Kramer Sat., Dec.5 at 1 p.m. at the Lifeway Baptist church, 601 N. Dolores Rd., Cortez, CO. Darren was born Sept. 16, 1967 in Cortez and went to be with his Lord Wednesday Nov. 4, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 wonderful years Peggy Kramer; sons Billy Hicks (Joshalynn) of Dolores and Jerry Kramer (Niki) of Mancos; 5 grandchildren and one on the way, Danna, Darren, and Adam Hicks, and Destiny and Chelsey Kramer; his mother Charleen Randolph and brother Jody Randolph both of Cortez; sister Kierra Fury (Danny) of Mancos, sister-in law Melissa Mathews of Mancos and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Junior and Faye Randolph, brother Randy Mathews and son Colby Kramer. Darren loved to run heavy equipment; he operated for King Coal mine, BJC Bobcat (our own business), Montezuma County Road Dept., Magnus Pacific, and many other small businesses and friends. He enjoyed hunting, four-wheeling, horse races, and leather work. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. He is deeply loved and missed.
