Florence Maddox, 91, of Taylorsville, passed away Sunday, the 20th day of March, 2016 at Signature Healthcare in Taylorsville .
A native of Spencer County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Able and Ollie Margaret Truax Martin and the widow of Wilbert Maddox.
A dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Taylorsville ,
Her memberships also include the Taylorsville Chapter 366 of the Eastern
Star.
She was an employee of Spencer County School System for over forty years, and is well remembered by several generations of Spencer Countians for her work in the Taylorsville School Cafeteria .
In addition to her parents and husband , she was preceded in death by her daughter, Wanda Edington .
Survivors include her daughter , four grandchildren , one sister, ten great-grandchildren , nine great-great-grandchildren ;and one great-great-great-
Grandchild .
