CORPORAL, UNITED STATES ARMY
WORLD WAR I

Arthur was the husband of Frances "Fannie"
Blount-Stewart; they married
25 Dec 1915, in
Macon, Bibbs, Georgia.

He was born to Howard Stewart
(Nov 1860-1924), and Sarah
Wallace-Stewart
(Jan 1866-1942) in Roberts,
Jones, Georgia; residing on
Milledgeville Road, just minutes
from Macon, Bibb County.

He is the father of:

Lois Elaine Stewart-Daniels
(Nov 1916-1988)
Ruby Stewart-Sims (Nov 1918-1976)
Louise Stewart (Oct 1919-1922)
Anna Dorthea Stewart-Smith
(Apr 1923-2000)
William "Billy" Stewart
(Feb 1925) MN

Our grandfather's Military Registration
says he was born Feb 14, 1895.
However, his parents reported on the
1900 Census that he was born Oct 1896.

He experienced a seizure and passed
away at the young age of just 29 years,
in their home located in Detroit,
in Ward 14, at 6018 Stanford ST.
We take comfort in his knowing that he knew
prior to his transition, that he finally
had a son, Billy. :-)

He was interred Dec 2, 1925, Funeral
entrusted to James H. Coles, Junior
Funeral Home, West Grand BLVD, Detroit
