Ms. Williams was born Sept. 10, 1942 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Lynwood and Roberta Covington Bryant. She was a graduate of Rohanen High School class of 1962 and had retired from the corporate offices of Belk stores in Charlotte. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn B. Guinn.
Surviving are a stepson, Dana Williams Jr. of Indian Trail; four grandchildren; sisters, Sarah Strader (Bryant) of Reidsville, Edna Strader of Greensboro; and brothers, James Bryant (Donna), Bobby Bryant (Diane) and Cecil Bryant all of Rockingham, Richard Bryant (Carolyn) of Kentucky and Ray Bryant (Kay) of Oak Island.
