Lois Montgomery was the daughter of William W. and Mary E. Montgomery.

Lois married Wallace Luther Lambert on October 9, 1943 in Guilford County, NC.

The Obituary for Lois M. Lambert:

PLEASANT GARDEN - Lois Montgomery Lambert, 76, died Thursday , June 22, 2000, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Aaron Moss and Matt Nealy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She was a native of Nottoway County, Virginia, the widow of Wallace Lambert, a retired secretary, and was a volunteer in the Mobile Meals program in the Pleasant Garden community.

Surviving are daughter, Jean L. Turner of Greensboro; son, Lane Lambert of Pleasant Garden; sisters, Doris Neece of Greensboro, Mabel Earp of Florida, Rosalee Stubblefield of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Mary Ruth Walton of Pleasant Garden; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

The family will be at Loflin Funeral Home, Liberty, 6-8 p.m. Friday, other times at the home.
