Patricia Walters Gardner, age 62, of Henderson, NC died on Monday, November 30, 2009 at Blue Ridge Health Care in Raleigh, NC.
Born in Lumberton, NC on May 14, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Walters and Mabel Sutton Walters.
She was retired from the Wake County Sheriffs Department where she was an Administrative Officer and was a member of Aversboro Baptist Church in Garner, NC. Mrs Gardner was also an active member of Woodman Of The World.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Lewis Gardner of the home; two sons, Troy Brisson of Lumberton, NC and Tracey Brisson of Garner, NC; one brother, Marvin Earl Walters of Broken Arrow, OK; and three grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton, NC. There will be a time for visitation prior to the service from 12:30-1:45 PM at Floyd Morturary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton. Burial will follow in Walters Family Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Lumberton Resuce Unit, 2391 Roberts Avenue, Lumberton, NC 28358.
