Marvin Walters, 66, died Tuesday.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3 p.m. at Long Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Worley officiating. Music will be provided by Mr. & Mrs. J.A. Stone Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Mabel Sutton Walters; a son, Earl Walters of Tulsa, OK; a daughter, Patricia Brisson of Garner; brothers; Willis and L.E. Walters both of Lumberton, sisters; Florence and Ada Britt, Sue Loughlin, Vera Snipes and Ida R. Mayes all of Lumberton and Doris Long of Wilmington; six grandchildren and three great-grand children.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Biggs Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers were: Alan Britt, Ray Cox, Frank Ledwell, Robert Ivey, Jeff Rhodes & Ray Show.

Honorary pallbearers were: Members of the Lumberton Rescue Unit.
