Miriam Williams Andrews was a native Atlantan, who passed away on Wednesday, January 27 2016 at the age of 97 years. Mrs. Andrews was born in Montgomery, Alabama on June 9, 1918 and attended Brown Junior High and Commercial High School.

She and her husband Otho Bruce Andrews were married for 66 years before his death in January 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Annie Laurie Culpepper and James Edwin Williams. Mrs. Andrews was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by her many friends and relatives.

Mrs. Andrews was a wonderful homemaker, cook, with family coming first always. In 1930's she worked at Rich's Department in downtown Atlanta and during WWII she helped Bruce during his Army Training.

Mrs. Andrews is survived by her son William Bruce Andrews (Debbie); daughter Jean Andrews Boyd (John); three grandchildren, Bonny Jean Linscott(Jeffrey), James Bruce Andrews (Jennifer), William Martin Andrews (Michelle); great grandchildren, Jordan Kate Perkins; Colby ,Sarah, Kathryn and Cade Andrews. Also many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, 30 January at 11:00 AM at Westview Cemetery with Reverend Philip Johnson of Sandy Creek Baptist Church officiating.
