Age 94, resident of Bellevue, joined her husband, Richard, and son, Daniel, in Heaven on Thursday, January 7, 2016. Isabel was born to the late Albert and Harriet (VanDenLangenberg) Guns on November 30, 1921, in the town of Bellevue. She taught religion classes for 11 years at St. Mary’s in Glenmore. Isabel was also the President of the Catholic Knights Inc., Branch 258. She married Richard Puyleart on June 28, 1941, at St. Philip the Apostle Church. He preceded her in death on October 14, 2006. After Isabel and Richard were married, they purchased a farm with 180 acres and built their home from their own wooded property. On top of all the farm work, she had her hands full with raising her seven children.
In addition to her husband and parents, Isabel was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Puyleart; siblings, Ray Guns, Gordy (Joyce) Guns, Vernie Delaruelle, and Robert Guns; brothers-in-law, Raymond Puyleart and Wencil Froelich. She was also preceded in death by Richard’s siblings, infant Norbert, Joe (Alice) Puyleart, Marie (Clarence) Ducat, Bernadine (Jack) Laurent, Leona (Elmer) DeGrand, Norbert Puyleart, Gladys (Pete) Umentum, Harold Puyleart, and Robert (Edna) Puyleart; brother-in-law, Harold Lemmens; and great-granddaughter, Iesha Puyleart.
