She was heir of the House Koháry and is considered the progenitrix of the house Linie Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha-Koháry. She was mother of Ferdinand I of Portugal, grandmother of Ferdinand of Bulgaria, and great-grandmother of Kings Ferdinand I of Romania and Friedrich August III of Saxony.
