Alexandre Micheal DeSalis "Day-Day" was granted his wings on November 22th 2015.
Alex was born Sept. 17, 1999 in Rome, New York. He was a Junior at North Paulding High School. Alex's life would seem too short at 16 years old to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of his existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His smile and laugh would melt the hearts of those around him and he only wanted everyone to love each other.
Alex possessed a strength and an ability to unite everyone with his never ending love that led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. He would spend hours talking and encouraging others to just be themselves so they would know that he loved everyone so much. He enjoyed music, sleeping late, and spending time with friends and family. With Alex's passing we are reminded that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him everyday he will forever remain in our hearts.
Alex is survived by his loving parents, Kenneth and Michelle Guthrie Dallas, Ga; Father – Daniel DeSalis Syracuse, NY; sisters Bryanne DeSalis and Caitlyn Guthrie Dallas, Ga; brothers Nicholas Steele and Maxwell Steele Dallas, Ga; maternal grandparents Doreen and Glen Cavanaugh Woodstock, Ga, Robert and Juliette Steele Rome, NY; paternal grandparents Cheryl Considine, Daniel T. DeSalis Syracuse, Ny. Many Aunts , Uncles, cousins, and Many Many Friends everywhere. Alex will truly be missed by everyone that knew and loved him.
