Theresa has one known sister Victoria E Winiecki Dobrient (Memorial # 26771291) a Milwaukee chiropodist. Theresa or Tess, as she was called, married her husband Edward John Cullen 17 September 1902. As they were still childless by December 1904 they adopted a one-month old baby named Hugh Reynolds and changed his name to Harold William Cullen. Several years later their family started growing with the birth of four more children of their own: Edward Thomas b: 1906 married Ellen Francis Montague d: 1985, Genevive Victoria Cullen Lust b: 1909 d: 1989, Josephine Cullen b: 1912 married Art Silvis d: 1986 and Frances Cullen b: 1915 married Helen Fremell d: 1994.

Theresa and her husband Edward raised their children on a farm in Elba, Wisconsin. In the 1930's, in a remarkable selfless act, Theresa made contact with the genetic brother of her first son, Harold,(Memorial# 57748727) after which the two families became reconnected.
