MITCHUM, Thomas Thomas Beeler Mitchum, 84, of North Charleston, widower of Mary Frances Mitchum, died November 15, 2006 at Trident Medical Center of Pneumonia. Originally of Georgetown, SC, he lived 40 years on Rock Street in North Charleston. Born April 3, 1922 in Georgetown, Mr. Mitchum was a 20 year veteran of the US Army. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Mitchum was predeceased by his wife, Mary Frances Mitchum and his son, Richard Allen Mitchum. He is survived by three children, Thomas O. Mitchum of North Charleston, Mary Susan Brutsch of Dallas, TX, and Victoria Ann Spayde of Suffolk, VA. Also included are nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Carolina Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements are being handled by Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC.
