Jo Anne was born February 7, 1941 to Glen and Lillie Leonard in Mead. She was a native to Colorado spending her life in this beautiful state she loved. She graduated from Mead High school. She married James O'dell McMichael in 1962.After divorce, Jo Anne enjoyed spending her time with her beloved companion, James Sawdey. Jo Anne worked for Western Cutlery, Ball Brothers and Longmont United Hospital. Leaving the workforce she enjoyed taking her walks, enjoying her flowers in her yard, and going on her excursions with her best friend, Beverly Ernst.
Jo Anne was proceeded in death by her parents, Glen and Lillie Leonard, 2 brothers-Glen Jr & Kenny Leonard, 1 sister-Wanda Hutson ,3 infant children-Glen,Bobby, Jennifer, 1 great grandchild Jozlynn and her beloved companion, James Sawdey.
Jo Anne is survived by her daughter Sheila and her husband Gino. Her sisters Ruth, Patty, Orpha, Delores, and Marilyn. Grandchildren Joseph, Kasandra, Evander, Erika & Gabriella. Great grandchildren Maddx, Alfonso, Evy, Jaxson, Ajelei,Ramsey,Korde,and Desmond.
