February 29, 1936 ~ March 3, 2010

Lee, "Sonny boy" Wilmon Baker, 74, of the Holly Creek Community, passed away March 3, 2010 at his home.

He was born February 29, 1936 in Holly Creek to Emerson and Ethel Baker, where he lived his whole life until his passing.

Lee married Lola Christeen Virgin on June 28, 1954 until her passing on April 23, 2001.

Lee loved spending time outdoors on his tractor, tending to his cows or watching his kids and grandkids participate in sport activities. He also enjoyed going to gospel singings and visiting friends at the Holly Creek Community Center when he was able.

Lee was preceded in death by his wife Christeen; his parents; his sister, Marcelene; an infant daughter and an infant granddaughter and by a special niece, Darla Young.

He leaves to cherish his memories his sons and daughter-in-law, Ken Baker of Holly Creek, Keith and Kay Baker of Broken Bow; his daughters and sons-in-law, Vicky and Johnny Edmondson of Holly Creek and Cheryl and Gary Jones of Broken Bow;

His brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Patsy Baker and James and Vivian Baker all of Holly Creek three brothers-in-law, Ivan Lowery and Earl Virgin also of Holly Creek and Ireland Flowers of Oregon; a sister-in-law, Sue Murphy of Idabel;

His eight grandchildren, Talitha, Justin, Jeremy, Dustin, Lucas, Kelly, Kerrie and Kristi; 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
