EMERSON E. BAKER SUCCUMBS TUESDAY

Emerson E. Baker, 41, life-long resident of McCurtain county, died Tuesday morning at the Talihina hospital where he had been a patient since the first of August.

Born October 9, 1907, at Battiest, he had resided in the Holly Creek community for the past 16 years, moving from Wright City. He was an employee of the Dierks mill in Broken Bow.

Funeral services have been set for 2 p. m. today at Bethel H ill church with burial in Bethel Hill cenetery under direction of Coffey funeral home.

He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Miss Marcelene Baker; three sons, Lee, Jerry and James Baker, all of the home, and one brother, Louis Baker, Wright City.
