Mr. John Elmer Bedgood, age 78 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015.
Born Friday, June 11, 1937 in Goldonna, Louisiana, he was a retired truck driver and served his country in the US Army.
Mr. Bedgood was preceded in death by his Parents, Oliver and Betty Bedgood and six siblings.
Those left to cherish his memory include his Daughter, Shannon Carpenter, Dodson; Son, Randall Bedgood, Hampton, AR; 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren; Siblings, Louella Maines, Jerry Bedgood and Jimmy Ray Bedgood; Numerous nieces and nephews; Special friend, Linda Bryant.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 21 at Southern Funeral Home, from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Zion Hill Cemetery. Interment will follow under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.
