From TriValley Dispatch:

Larry “Tigre” Gutierrez, 60, a Florence native, died on Aug. 28, 2015.

Mr. Gutierrez was born to Johnny and Trini (Mariscal) Gutierrez on Jan. 23, 1955. Upon graduating from Florence High School, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and was very proud to have served as a Marine.

He loved sports and taking photographs of all sports teams, no matter what age the players. His favorite teams were in high school. He loved being around children and would play with them, no matter whose they were. He also enjoyed going to the movies and did not care which ones he saw.

Services will be at Assumption Catholic Church on Saturday. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., and funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 by the Rev. Jose Maria Corvera. Burial will be in Florence Cemetery.

Heritage Florence Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
