Nulyne Palmer Saye, 75, passed away on August 9th, 2015 in Apache Junction, Arizona, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born in Mesa, Arizona on February 28, 1940 to Newel and Pauline Palmer. Nulyne lived in the same house throughout her childhood and attended the Mesa School System before going to college at ASU. While attending ASU she met Ronald Saye and they were sealed for time and all eternity on March 18th, 1960 in the Mesa Temple. Shortly after getting married Ron and Nulyne moved to Califonia where they lived for over 40 years. After retiring, they moved back to Arizona to be closer to family. Nulyne's life revolved around her family. She spent most of her life as a homemaker.

Nulyne is survived by her loving husband Ronald, 5 children and their spouses, 15 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild, as well as 4 brothers and 1 sister. Nulyne was also the "honorary mom" to countless "adopted" children and numerous neighborhood children.

Nulyne was preceded in death by her parents Newel and Pauline Palmer, brothers Richard and Douglas Palmer, and sister Julie Palmer.

Nulyne was known best for her great love and willingness to give service. She was very active in her church and was able to serve in many different capacities. Nulyne was never one to sit idle and spent her time baking, sewing, making candy, camping, and traveling. Nulyne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, daughter, sister, and friend and will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Celebration is planned in her honor on August 29, 2015 at 12:00 noon at the LDS Chapel on 1720 South Ironwood, Apache Junction, AZ 85120. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014 or Fight for Rolyne at www.booster.com/fightforrolyne.
