The family lived on a tobacco farm near Seven Springs. She was always a farm wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her later years, she enjoyed taking bus trips and going to the YMCA in Goldsboro, NC where she was a member of the senior citizens water aerobics group.
She was a member of Daly's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. On April 27, 2003, she lost her battle with esophogeal cancer and we lost our loving mother and grandmother forever.
