My Grandmother immigrated to the U.S. Feb. 15, 1915 on the SS Maracas at Ellis Island, Port of New York from Naples, Italy. She married my Grandfather Raffaele Tortolani and had 6 children. Nancy, Anna, Assunta, Ida, Norma, Herbert.

My Grandmother was a hard working immigrant who made leather gloves and made many knitted and crochet items for her family.

She had 21 Grandchildren and many Great-Grandchildren.
