Services for Alvie Gilreath, 80, a retired farmer of Smithville, will be at 2 p.m. today at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.
Gilreath died Wednesday in DeKalb General Hospital. He was a veteran of WW I.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nancy Pack Gilreath; a daughter, Mrs. Frankie Pirtle, Smithville; a brother, Homer Gilreath, Woodbury, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Win-nard and Mrs. Clara Cripps, Nashville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
