Lawrence Rainbolt, 74, died Thursday, June 11, 2015, at his home in Boynton, Oklahoma. He was born on October 13, 1940 in McCurtain, Oklahoma to Mutt E. and Beulah (Allen) Rainbolt. Lawrence was employed at the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charlie and Ardee Rainbolt at birth; brother, Daga Rainbolt., and one great grandchild.

Lawrence is survived by his wife, Nancy J. Rainbolt of Boynton; son, Lawrence Rainbolt, Jr. of Boynton; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Christine Rainbolt of Boynton; daughters, Sudie and Lora Jean of Oklahoma City; son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Tina Rainbolt of Wagoner; 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, four brothers, three sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Church Purchased by Jesus Christ in Haskell, OK with Bro. Junior Moss officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Morris, OK. Pallbearers will be members of Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troop C. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Rainbolt, Wesley Rainbolt, Cody Rainbolt, Leroy Shepherd, Kevin Mayfield, and Derall Mayfield.
