Mike Endicott 1955 - 2004

Mike Endicott, 49, loving husband, father, son and brother, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 24, 2004.
Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Thursday Dec. 30, at Glenview Baptist Church, 4805 NE Loop 820.

Memorials: A memorial fund has been established for the Endicott family at Guaranty Federal Bank in Hurst, 1121 Bedford-Euless Road-W., Hurst, Texas 76053.

In life, Mike was a devoted disciple of God, and an inspiration to his family and friends. His life was a testimony to his love for the Lord and dedication to his beloved family. Born on Feb. 15, 1955, in Arkansas City, Kan., Mike moved to Hurst in 1963, where he graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 1973, and married his high school sweetheart Mary Simmons in 1975. Celebrating 29 years of marriage, Mike and Mary were blessed with two wonderful children who were the light of his life. Mike was a member of Glenview Baptist Church where he ministered to others through music in choir as well as being a member of the Glenview Vocal Band. He enjoyed celebrating and sharing the love of God through their performances, and now Mike is singing and glorifying God in the heavens. Mike worked for Fort Worth Fire Extinguisher for 17 years and through his smile and gentle demeanor, touched many lives in the community and will be missed by all. This was a man of character and integrity whose main goal and purpose in life was to serve God. Filled with sadness, our hearts are comforted by the promise that one day we will see him again in heaven. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Endicott, infant brother David, sisters Linda and Lori, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Chavis, and paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Endicott.

Survivors: Loving wife and soulmate of 29 years, Mary; son, Daryl; daughter, Krystal; father-in-law, Albert Ward; father and stepmother, Don and Margaret Endicott; brother, Eric Endicott; sister, Leisa Endicott; aunts, cousins, and a family of loving friends.
