Ruth Wynn Lawson, age 81, of Buck Creek Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at the home of her daughter in Siler, Kentucky. She was born June 5, 1933 in Whitley County, Kentucky to the late Hyval Wynn and Margaret Lawson Wynn. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Estes Lawson; children, Elizabeth Lawson Ramsey and infant, Abigail Lawson; two sisters, Nannie Knuckles and Retha Wynn; and two brothers, Estes Wynn and William Jay Wynn. She was a member of the House of Refuge Church.
She is survived by her children, Jimmy Ray Lawson of Siler, Kentucky, Bob Lawson and wife Brenda of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Bonnie Fuson and husband Jim of Corbin, Kentucky, Barbara Rhodes and husband Glennis of Siler, Kentucky, Sherman Lawson and wife Rhonda of Rockholds, Kentucky, Sheila Perkins of Siler, Kentucky, Mary Rhodes and husband Ken of Siler, Kentucky, Darlene Partin and husband Gary of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Rev. Mark McKinley Lawson and wife Hallie of Rockholds, Kentucky, Tim Lawson of Siler, Kentucky, Delvena Rains and husband Ernie of Somerset, Kentucky, Dennis Lawson of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Zola Lawson of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Rev. Lilburn Doug Lawson and wife Amanda of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and Leva Patricia Jordan and husband Keith of Barbourville, Kentucky; forty grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and a host of many other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, May 2, 2015 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Lawson and Rev. Mark Lawson officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Lawson Cemetery on Seng Branch in Siler, Kentucky.
