Mrs. William Stevens Dies at Home in Quitman-

Mrs. Nellie May Stevens, age 66, died suddenly, presumably of a heart attack, about 11:30 o'clock Saturday night at her home in Quitman where she had resided for the last 20 years.

She was born August 18, 1882, at Delta, Ia., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Beasley. On June 12, 1900, she was married to William Stevens in Red Cloud, Neb. In 1901 Mr. and Mrs. Stevens moved to Missouri and lived in Westboro previous to their residence in Quitman.

She was a member of the Methodist Church in Westboro.

Survivors include her husband; five sons, Leo Stevens, Barnard; John Stevens, Pierce, Idaho; William Stevens, Wichita, Kan., Millard Stevens, Kelso, Wash., and Robert Stevens, Quitman, and two daughters, Mrs. Irene Long, Savannah, and Mrs. Mary Race, Quitman. One son, James Stevens, died in 1932.

Funeral services will be held in the Methodist Church in Quitman. The Rev. W.H. Thompson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The time of the rites has not been decided, pending the arrival of relatives.

The body was removed to the Hann Funeral Home of Burlington Junction, MO.
