Argyle-- Delos E Cook, 71, of West Road, Agryle, died Wednesday (Jan 31, 1979)
in Glens Falls Hospital, after a long illness
Mr Cook was born March 3, 1907 in Vermont, the son of Delos and Finny (Barrett)
Cook. He married the former Irene Steves on Aug 31, 1977 in Whitehall.
Mr Cook was a former resident of Hudson Falls and a member of Immaculate Heart of
Mary Chruch, Hudson Falls. He was a retired employee of Hercules Inc having worked
there for 37 years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons: Robert Cook of Scotia; Richard Cook
of Glens Falls; and Ronald Cook of South Glens Falls; three daughters, Mrs Stanley
(Betty) Galka of Closter NJ; Mrs Gordon (Patricia) Aubrey of Argyle and Mrs John
(Janet) Pagano of Glens Falls; 19 grandchildren; a great-grandson; three brothers,
Raymond cook of Glens Falls; John Cook of West Pawlet, VT; and Arthurcook of
Bennington, VT; two sisters, Mrs Lena Winchell and Mrs Florance Pete, both of
Chicopee, MA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be conducted at 10 am Friday in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery, town of Fort Edward.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today at the Carleton funeral home, 68
Main St, Hudson Falls.
The family has suggested that memorials may be made in the form of contributions
to the Argyle Rescue Squad.
