Age 60
Passed away at home in Grand Forks. He was the son of Joseph and Ethel. Dave attended Michigan District 86 School near Reynolds, ND. Dave grew up in a family of 11 brothers and sisters on a farm near Reynolds. On August 26, 1965 Dave was united in marriage to Diane at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grand Forks.

Dave's career began working for Agsco as a general mechanic. He also worked as a mechanic for Welter's Marine and Andy's Cycle Shop, keeping many Honda's and Harley's on the road. Later, he turned to his carpentry skills and worked for Innes Construction. In 1986 Dave and Diane opened Breidenbach Construction, building custom homes and later building cabinets and furniture. His craftsmanship continues on through the skills of all those he taught and mentored throughout the years.

Dave had a wide range of interests and hobbies including: Riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, woodworking, building musical instruments, spending time with his large family, grandchildren and many friends. He also enjoyed visiting with his coffee buddies at Jeannie's Restaurant. His last motorcycle vacation was with his family earlier this year in Tucson, AZ.

Family members of Dave include his wife Diane; children Timothy, Bradley, five grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Roseann, Paul, Raymond, Jeannine, Rita and Greg, Mary Kay, Jo and Bernadette; uncles, aunts many cousins, nieces, nephews, and numerous special friends.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, brother John, infant siblings, Judy and Jeff.

"Last Ride": Friday, at Norman Funeral Home, to the church in Reynolds. Please, come dressed to ride. He will be missed.
