Mrs. Helen "Dodie" Isbell Jernigan, 75, died Tuesday morning (April 28, 2015) at her residence in Prattville, AL after an extended illness. She was a native of Birmingham, AL, but she lived most of her life in Prattville, AL as a homemaker. She was a member of Living Waters Church of God in Millbrook, AL.

She is the daughter of the late Robert Leslie Isbell and Cuba Mills Isbell. Survivors include her husband, David Coster Jernigan of Prattville, AL; one daughter, Miranda Leake Perrin of Prattville, AL; three grandchildren, Mistie Blue Cummings, Randall Leake and Casey Leake; two son-in-laws, Stuart Cummings and Charles Sonny Perrin; four great grandchildren, Madison Cummings, Tiger Cummings, Austin Leake and Marlana Leake; one sister, Sylvis Smith of Leeds, AL; one brother, Bobby Isbell of Prattville, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday (May 1, 2015) at Kettle Creek Cemetery. Music Funeral Home, Waycross, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
