An uncle thought her maiden name to be Terikoff I believe it may have been Terekhov

Mable is how her death record said also but her son had Mabel put on her headstone.
Mabel arrived in Canada in 1911 as Anastasia Astafuroff on the SS Pisa, her husband Ivan (John) and two sons, Wasili 3yrs & Grigori 10 mos. Grigori died a few days after arrival, and is buried in Halifax , Nova Scotia
They were also with Ivans two brother's, Vasily and Grigori Astafuroff. All were quarantined on Grosse-Ile in Quebec upon arrival.
Correct spelling of the surname is Astafurov.
Around 1921-1923, John ( Ivan), left Mable with four children. John Negraiff came along and they got together. My aunt said it was her cooking that drew him. John Negraiff was also married, previously.
