Amy Dunn Harvey, 44, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 7, 2015. She was born in Nash County on August 24, 1970. Amy was an amazing wife, daughter, and homemaker and a loving sister and aunt. She possessed a loving, giving spirit and was a wonderful friend to all who met her. Her courage was a great inspiration to those who knew and loved her. Amy was also a huge Carolina Tar Heels fan and loved her baby girl, Sadie Hope. Amy is survived by her husband, Michael Harvey; Sadie Hope Harvey, her beloved Lab and baby girl; her father, Danny Dunn (Tami); her mother, Jean Bell (Ricky); sister, Traci O`Conney (Al); niece, Ciara O`Conney, who lovingly referred to Amy as “Mamy”; special cousin, Angie Starkweather; and many extended family and friends.The family would like to give a special thanks to Amy`s Northside Church family, her career family at S.E.&M, and the staff of Community Home Care and Hospice of Rocky Mount. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Cornerstone Funeral home in Nashville, NC. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:00am in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with a committal service following at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
