James Smoker, 69, of Cherokee passed away on January 22, 2015 after an extended illness.
James is the son of the late Charlie Smoker and Sarah Teesateskie.
James is survived by sisters, Jeanette Jumper of Robbinsville and Kina Bradley of Cherokee; brother John Smoker of Cherokee.
James is preceded in death by brother, Abraham Smoker and sister Melinda S. Bigwitch.
A visitaion will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Church of the Lamb (located in Robbinsville, NC) from 11am-2pm.
Funeral service will start at 2pm.
Burial will follow at Ledford Cemetery.
Friends and family will be among Pall Bearers.
