Father of Albert L. Wheeler.
Albert was living with his uncle Jacob at Reems Creek in 1900.
Albert
His grave marker was last observed in 1985, by the Big Ivy Historical Society in the Antioch Cemetery.
After a long and grueling two hours of chopping and breaking branches, I was able to uncover both Ervin's/Erwin's and A. L. Wheeler's markers. They are in very poor condition and are not composed of stone, they were made from sand and mortar, then the names and dates were tooled into the surface before the cement hardened. Both have frozen and thawed so many times that the deterioration is about to cause them to crumble down. Someone in the family line should replace these markers very soon, before it's too late.
