Jeanette & her sister, Geneva Petitt, were identical twins. They attended the Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, OH every year. They were so festive & lovable. They were also members of the International Twins Association. We will all feel the loss along with her family at home...
Jeanette, 70, of Decatur, TN passed away at home.
She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church.
She retired from Duracel after 44 years service.
She was preceded in death by her parents; mother Bessie Lee Holt & step-father Carl F. Holt; brother Wayne Buckner; sister Wanda Sliger.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Doyle P. Meadows; two sons & daughter-in-laws, Steven Doyle (Pam) Meadows of Decatur, Anthony Todd (Nicola) Meadows of Utah; one daughter & son-in-law, Kristie Lynette (Jeffrey “Kendall“) Barton of Decatur; two sisters, Phyllis Karagas of Wyandotte, MI, Geneva Petitt of Cleveland; 5 grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, Ashton, Wyatt and Dylan; 6 step grandchildren, Brandon, Corey, Jacob, Devon, Sierra and Eli; several nieces, nephews and a host of good church friends.
Funeral service were held Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Lewis & Rev. Mike King officiating. Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery.
Pallbearers were; Jeff Petitt, Jerry Petitt, Travis Petitt, Donald Sliger, Tim Meadows & Bobby Meadows.
