She was named Aloise Stefania Rebstock at birth. Stephanie was the daughter of Franz 'Frank' Rebstock and Anna Wackenhut Rebstock Stockburger of Germany. Frank was christened Fransis Fabian and born to Wilhelm Rebstock and Aloysia Kohler in Binsdorf, Wurttemberg. Anna was the daughter of Karl Friedrich Wackenhut and Christina Holzhauser and was born in Nuremberg, Wurttemberg. Frank immigrated to New York in 1888 on the ship Polynesia. Anna immigrated to Philadelphia about 1889. They were married in Philadelphia in 1891. Franz was a brewer. Stephanie had 5 brothers and 1 sister:

1-Wilhelm F. Rebstock (Jan 9 1893-after 1942)-changed to William
2-Joseph Sebastian Rebstock (Dec 6 1894-Nov 1968 Yeadon PA)
3-Frank F. Rebstock (May 18 1896- Feb 1966 Camden NJ)
4-Frederick J. Rebstock (Sept 17 1901-March 4 1943)
5-Aloysius Rebstock (February 1 1903-Sept 1967 Camden) recorded as 'Alluis'
6-Anna Rebstock (abt 1905)

Stephanie was married to Charles Richard Carr, who was a foreman for a banana importing company. He was born September 23, 1899 (but his social security card said September 3). Charles died in Philadelphia in July 1972. Stephanie died from a heart attack at 401 North Howard Street. Her usual residence was 1101 North Howard Street. She was the mother of at least 12 children:

1-Charles R. Carr (abt 1918-?)
2-Albert Carr (abt 1922-?)
3-Franklin Carr (abt 1923-?)
4-Dorothy Carr Juris (1924-2012))
5-William J. Carr (1925-2004)
6-Edna Marie Carr (May 3 1927- Dec 5 1928)
7-Margaret Carr Fisher (abt 1929-?)
8-Joseph Carr (abt 1933-?)
9-Robert Carr (abt 1934-?)
10-Edna Carr Tobin (abt 1936-?)
11-John Carr (abt 1937-?)
12-Martha Carr Eastman?

Note that her name appears on the same headstone as her parents, her mother's second husband John Stockburger, her uncle Frederick, and her baby cousin. She is listed as Stefanie Rebstock without mention of her married name Carr, as on her death certificate (the engraved year of birth is also incorrect).
