Mary Evelene was born October 24, 1927, a most wonderful day. All the celebration was due the birth of a beautiful baby girl to her proud parents, Henry Pratt and Mary Belle King Roland. This lucky girl was not only born to goodly parents, she was born in the beautiful southern state of Georgia. This was a sure sign that Heavenly Father loved her. She was doubly blessed indeed. The family continued to grow. Viola Idell (Ernest Hoke Oliver), Broadus King and Chessie Sherman (Sarah Ellen Potter) were all welcomed into the family, as well. Peggy Lee came next to join the fun, then Martha Faye (Stuart Pallow Heimdal). Patricia Diane (Terry Timmons) joined the group and Henry Pratt, Jr. (Rebecca Collins) completed the family. What a group to love and celebrate. November 22, 2014, was another noteworthy day in the life of Mary Evelene, but not as celebrated as that day in 1927. Family faces were sad, tears were shed, and hearts hurt that day. Mary Evelene had passed away.
