She Married William Cantrell on 11 February 1869 at the home of her father in Waco, McLennan County, Texas. She died 1 Aug 1943 in Oklahoma. She was the mother of James Wesley Cantrell A.K.A.: William, Thomas Jefferson Cantrell , Mary Pink Cantrell Ray, Buelah Cantrell Allison Buchanan Choats, Oscar Cantrell , Arabell Cantrell Winchester, Lillie Pearl Cantrell Davis and Cora D Cantrell
Ellen was Choctaw Indian.

Ellen had a pension from her husband William Cantrell for being a Texas Ranger. He fought in the Indian Wars.
