Michael was the son of Michael Wheeler and Elizabeth Walch/Waler. His parents were both born in Ireland and his father was a Sea Captain. He immigrated to this country about 1877.

On July 29, 1885 in Gorham, NH he married Margaret Hickey, daughter of Patrick Hickey and Catherine Doyle.

Their children were John David, Mary Helen "Etta", Georgianna, Dora Mae, Edward Michael, Frederick F, Andrew Arthur, Gertrude, and Lawrence Anthony. They also had another child who was born and died before 1900.

Age: 77yrs 6mos 24dys

Cause of Death: Bladder and Prostate Cancer
