HENRIETTA RINGER RANKIN---92 of Big Brownfield, Pa. died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 1997 at home.
She was born Jan. 27, 1905, in Connellsville, Pa.,daughter of the late Hiram and Lydia Firestone Ringer.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Harry R. Rankin on June 29, 1978; two sisters, Rosella Showman and Ann Marshall; three brothers, Hiram, John and William Ringer; and one step grandson.
Surviving are 12 children, Harry Rankin Jr., and his wife Irene of Castroville, Texas, Irene Crupe and the late Delmar, Robert Rankin and his wife, Myra, Ann Phillips and her husband Wiley, all of Washington Pa., Gladys Bush and her husband Thomas of Claysville, Pa., Geraldine Fisher and her husband Glfford of Fairchance, Pa., Freda Ritz and her husband Bill of Hutchinson, Pa., Dottie Campbell and her husband Larry of Fairchance, Pa., Donald Rankin and his wife Bonnie of Shady Grove, Pa., Ronald Rankin and his wife Ruth of Uniontowm, Pa., and James Rankin of Big Brownfield, Pa.; 36 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; ten great great-grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren; two sisters, Agnes Hall of Conellsville, Pa., and Emma Lou of the state of Ohio; and one brother, James Ringer of South Carolina.
Mrs. Rankin was the oldest living member of the Fairchance Pentecostal Church.
The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBOROTOMI FUNERAL, 21 East Church St., Fairchance, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday until 11 a.m. the hour of service, with the Rev. Daniel DeFrank officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
