Floyd says Marlene was a great homemaker, and although she was not a biological mother, she was an excellent mom and teacher to many children throughout her lifetime. She also was an excellent decorator, gardener, as well as a gracious and charismatic host in her home. Marlene loved to travel the world with Floyd - meeting people of different cultures, and languages. Most of all, says Floyd, she was a wonderful wife and companion…words can't express the loss Floyd feels at this time of his best friend and sweetheart.
A Funeral Mass will be at 9:30am on Friday Nov 14 at St Joseph's Catholic Church of Modesto, with a graveside committal to follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Modesto, CA.
