Albert Casedy, R.D. 2, Sharpsville, Clay Hollow road, Hickory Twp., died at his home at 2:30 p.m. Saturday following a five year illness. He was 72. He was born in Hickory Tw., Dec. 8, 1888. His father's name was John Casedy and his mother's maiden name was Jennie Bowie. He was married to the former Edith McDowell, who survives. His last employment was in the mold department of Shenango Furnace Co. and previous to that he was employed at the Sharon and Ice Co. for many years. He is a member of the Clarksville Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Irene, wife of Harry Rankin, Hickory Twp. and two brothers, Lee Casedy, Sharpsville and Clarence Casedy, Detroit and seven grandchildren.
Service at 2p.m. Tuesday at the STEVENSON FUNERAL HOME, Sharpsville, with Rev. William Alexander, paster of the Clarksville Methodist Church officiating.
Pallbearers: Earl Montgomery, Carl Lewis, Charles McDowell, Curtis McCoullough, Jack Schrader and Fred Greene.
Burial: in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage, Pa. USA
