Arthur Adams, 81 of Anderson Street, passed away Friday, February 05, 2016. He was a native of Madison County and son of the late Gay and Alba Corn Adams. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Louise Robinson Adams and son Dale Adams. Mr. Adams was a farmer and also retired from the Biltmore Estate, a job of which he truly enjoyed.
He was survived by his daughter Wanda Allen (Steve); sons, Gary Adams, Larry Adams (Carolyn), Bobby Adams (Brenda); sister Betty Gabby; brothers, Doug Adams (Kay), Hartsel Adams (Maude), Doyle Adams (Ruth), seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held 11:00 AM Monday, February 8, 2016 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Robert Reynolds officiated. Burial was in Brown-Ray Cemetery.
