Frances Piper of Oologah, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 in Tulsa. She was 74. Frances was born September 29, 1939 in Beggs, OK to Guy and Bertha (Daily) Piper. She moved from Beggs to Tulsa and worked in furniture retail for multiple years. Frances then moved to Oologah where she worked as a Loan Clerk at Lakeside State Bank until her retirement. She had a great love of animals, especially her Chihuahuas Sandy and Gidget. Frances loved spending time with her family and treated her nieces and nephews as her own. She will be greatly missed.

Frances is survived by two sisters, fourteen nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Joe Piper, Jean Piper Guthary, Paula Piper Bullard, and Jimmie Piper.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to your local animal rescue center.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 with the family receiving guests from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phil McGehee officiating. Interment will be held at 4:00 p.m. at Beggs Cemetery in Beggs, OK. Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
