Jeanette Te Slaa, 77, of Hull died Saturday, June 2, in Pleasant Acres Nursing Home in Hull following a long illness.

Services were Tuesday in the First Christian Reformed Church of Hull with the Rev. William Renkema officiating. Burial was in Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Te Slaa, the former Jeanette Westra, was born April 20, 1913, at Hull, the daughter of Barney & Hattie (Brunsting) Westra. She married John Te Slaa, April 18, 1930, at Hull and was a lifelong resident of Hull. John died in 1984

She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church of Hull and Helping Hands Society.

Survivors include a son, John; three daughters, Hendrene; Joan; Julene; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Pearl Tiedeman of Hull and Dorothy De Boer of Sioux Center.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Freda; two brothers, Henry & Bernie; and one sister, Winifred Tiedeman.
